The Rendille are a semi-nomadic camel herding
tribe located in the Kaisut Desert of northern Kenya. They survive, as
they have for thousands of years, off of their camels. They live in
small wood huts covered with camel skin, they speak their own unique
language, and enjoy a beautiful pastoralist lifestyle.
The following photo essay hopes to serve as a general
introduction to their life and culture. |
