Learn Lakota Language
Paul, Jeff, and Emily Ward traveled back to Pine Ridge for further meetings with Russell and Pearl Means in order to finalize the Learn Lakota Language project. In addition a series of interviews with local elders was conducted and filmed.

Museums in Africa Conference
Paul Christians was invited to CMI, a Norwegian institution specializing in international development and justice research located in Bergen. While there, Paul joined a panel of scholars and museum practitioners from Norway, Europe, and Zimbabwe for the
workshop "The Politics of Memory: The Role of Museums in Africa in the New Millennium," and gave an open lecture on "
The Virtual Museum."

Paul Christians and Syrie Antrim-Cambium traveled to Pine Ridge South Dakota for meetings with Russell and Pearl Means that explored the possible partnership with Open Hand regarding a Lakota Language project as part of their Treaty School.
