Join us at 7pm on December 17th at Schuler Books (Grand Rapids, MI) for the launch of Faces of Dignity, Open Hand's new book of photography, cultural stories, and lessons learned that takes a second look at people and places from around the world. Grab a relaxing break from your busy holiday schedule with free coffee, stories from the book itself, and warm conversation. And, get your copy of the book signed while you pick up a gift or two for friends and family. About the Book Faces of Dignity is a collection of photographs and cultural stories from around the world, with over 100 full color photos by Jeff DeKock and 14 accompanying tales by Paul Christians and Jeff DeKock. Faces is about taking a different look at poverty issues by finding and celebrating human dignity even in the most unexpected places. And it's for all ages: children and families are welcome at the event.
